42 – Scott Pilgrim vs. The World | Migliori film Netflix
Coming May 22 Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, a film as bizarre as it is hilarious. Scott Pilgrim lives in Toronto, where he delights as a bassist for the garage rock group. Everything runs smoothly until Scott meets the mysterious roller-blader Ramona Flowers. The girl came to Toronto from New York to find peace and leave the past behind. Scott falls in love with her, but discovers that before he can declare himself he will have to defeat the League of Seven Evil Exes. The seven exes will do anything to knock Scott out, but if he is truly in love he must defeat them before the game-over.
Cinecomic not suspect in unsuspecting times, this film benefits from the delusional interpretation at the right point by Michael Cera, but also from the presence of Chris Evans, in his umpteenth comic role.
41 – Magic Mike | Migliori film Netflix
Magic Mike is a 2012 film directed by Steven Soderbergh, with Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer and Matthew McConaughey. It is the story of Mike, a thirty-year-old boy with the great project of opening his own business. He keeps up with a variety of odd jobs, most notably performing as a stripper at Tampa’s Xquisite Strip Club (which the actor himself did as a young man), a Dallas-owned club. Mike meets 19-year-old Adam, a boy who doesn’t seem to have many plans for the future and who soon settles into the glittering front world of the strip club, using drugs and having sexual encounters with customers.
This film, which has definitely put the spotlight on Chaning Tatum, shows gods deep enough contents behind a glittery facade. Surprising film in many ways, to see.
40 – Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice | Migliori film Netflix
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is a 2016 film directed by Zack Snyder set right after the events of Man of Steel. Superman (Henry Cavill) defeated Zod and a threat to the land the Kryptonian carried, but divided public opinion. There have been many civilian casualties in the clash, and many believe it is better not to keep alive someone who has godlike powers. Among those who see the Kryptonian as a threat is Batman (Ben Affleck), the executioner with the bat mask who has been fighting crime in Gotham for more than twenty years. Even billionaire Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) is obsessed with Superman’s strength, but for different reasons. Both are looking for a way to stop the alien, with very different outcomes.
Film that received mixed reviews was supposed to be the jewel of the DCEU, capable of setting off a success comparable to that obtained by the MCU, but was not fully successful in its intent. Despite obvious screenwriting issues, it contains interesting insights, not least the introduction of Diana Prince, who will really convince everyone in her stand-alone film Wonder Woman. Finally, Snyder’s contribution from a visual point of view is always a valuable element.
39 – Owl’s Moving Castle | Best Netflix movies

Here, the fire demon Calcifer asks Sophie to break the spell which binds him to the castle, offering her in exchange to restore her to her true appearance.
Hayao Miyazaki, even with this film, succeeds in a goal coveted by all directors: to excite. He does so in his favorite field of animation, of which this film represents an example to be taken as an example. The plot of events is commendable, the animations of Studio Ghibli they teach. Truly a film to be recovered and reviewed.
38 – Mission: Impossible – Fallout | Migliori film Netflix
Film directed by Christopher McQuarrie, sees Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) protagonist of yet another mission impossible, this time against terrorists who want to unleash an atomic apocalypse. On a mission in Belfast, when Agent Hunt is forced to choose between stopping the terrorists and saving a comrade, he will choose the latter. Thus begins a phase of coaching / evaluation by the CIA, in the person of agent Walker (Henry Cavill). However, not everything is as it seems.
Classic plot for this which is the sixth film in the Mission Impossible saga. Yet the solid script, great editing and sharp photography ensure that viewing doesn’t get bored. Indeed, we are still amazed, if possible more and more, by the athletic preparation of the now over fifty-year-old Tom Cruise, who seems to improve with age. Here you can find our review of Mission: Impossible – Fallout.
37 – Split | Best Netflix movies
Split is part of a trilogy of films directed by M. Night Shyamalan, preceded by Unbreakable in 2000 and followed by Glass in 2019. Tells the story Kevin (James McAvoy), suffering from multiple personality disorder, who kidnaps three teenagers. To have a chance of survival, the girls must be able to escape before the man finally goes mad.
Of this film it is said that the role of Kevin was originally to be played by recent Academy Award winner Joaquin Phoenix, but the actor and the production could not find an agreement. So James McAvoy got the part, while also proving to be absolutely up to it.
Recommended absolutely, worth seeing in his relationship with the others in the trilogy.

But another child is on the way and not making noise becomes more and more difficult.
With A Quiet Place – A Quiet Place, John Krasinski confronts the horror genre for the first time. The result is surprising, collecting a huge success among critics and audiences and deserving the continuation in a sequel. Absolutely recommended.
