Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, after conquering the big screen, will debut streaming on the Disney + platform: among the potential dates, a hypothesis based on an indiscretion appears
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever could have a potential release date on Disney +, the streaming platform that brings together almost all the films and TV series of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Not long after the release in theaters, the sequel to Black Panther, but Wakanda Forever could be streaming on Disney+ in the coming weeks. In fact, the giant would have already established the release date.
A novelty that will surely appeal to fans of the Marvel universe who have already seen the film in theaters but also to those who have not had the opportunity to go to the cinema during its distribution on the big screen. The sequel to Black Panther, the thirtieth film of the MCU, conquered the box office in November 2022 by blatantly closing Marvel’s Phase 4 but also giving a heartfelt tribute to the untimely deceased Chadwick Boseman.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever arriva in streaming
The plot of the Black Panther sequel follows Wakanda in the throes of a deep crisis after the sudden disappearance of King T’Challa. A serious illness, despite Shuri’s attempts (Letitia Wright) to find a cure, was fatal. Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett) tries to lead the kingdom as best he can, but the threat of an imminent war with another people led by Namor causes another crisis. But Shuri, cornered, manages to replicate the heart-shaped herb that allows you to create the Black Panther. Without delay, the princess undergoes the experiment transforming herself into the new protector of Wakanda.
The sequel to Black Panther was received positively by all, garnering positive reviews from audiences and critics (here you can find our review). Two months after its theatrical release, the film’s receipts are 440 million dollars in the United States alone and well 820 million dollars globally. For Marvel Studios it is yet another success, albeit with a small step back from its predecessor. Those who have not had the opportunity to watch it at the cinema or want to indulge in a rewatch will be able to do so thanks to Disney +, which has informally indicated a streaming release date for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. According to a recent indiscretion reported by CBR, in fact, the film should arrive on the platform January 20, 2023. At the moment the date has not yet been confirmed or denied even for the Italian platform.
