A mid-cycle update for the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe, which now comes with a slightly renewed design and a more technological interior. The car is ready to conquer the market starting from July 2024. The aesthetics have been revisited, but remain faithful to the Sports DNA. The front features a double kidney grille redesigned and new LED headlights. At the rear, however, they make their debut adaptive matrix lights e optional laser lights inspired by the M4 CSL. Two new colors, “Cape York metallic” and “Fire Red metallic”, and new 19 or 20-inch wheels complete the external restyling. In the passenger compartment the BMW Curved Display, a single panel that integrates instrumentation and infotainment. The new air vents, in addition to their aesthetic function, also allow you to control the air conditioning with gestures.
BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé: 3-spoke steering wheel and unchanged powertrain range
Speaking of steering wheel, it is a sporty two-spoke with illuminated multifunction buttons and now it's standard. Instead, shift paddles are available at no extra charge. Among the new options, a 3-spoke steering wheel with red indications at 12 o'clock and new materials for coverings and ambient lighting. Under the hood, the gamma powertrain remains unchanged, with petrol and diesel engines ranging from 184 HP from the 420i ai 374 hp from the M440i xDrive. The six-cylinder petrol engines and the 420d benefit from 48V mild-hybrid technology. All models are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and offer the choice between rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive (depending on the engine).
The car will be available on the market starting from July 2024. The prices have not yet been made official, but a slight increase is assumed compared to the current model, which starts from 58.650 euro for the 420i and reaches the 85.800 euro for the M440i xDrive. With this restyling, the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé consolidates its role as a point of reference in the luxury four-door coupé segment. By expertly combining sporty design, cutting-edge technology and driving pleasure, the anticipation for its market debut grows even more.
