The BMW X2 he comes back with his second generation of the premium compact, with a distinctive design – and also comes in a fully electric version: the BMW iX2. The arrival of the new BMW X2 is scheduled for March 2024together with BMW iX2 xDrive30 fully electric, a model of performance BMW X2 M35i xDrive, a petrol option and a diesel model. Design
In terms of exterior design, the new BMW X2 presents itself as un’autentica Sports Activity Coupe with dynamic lines and a decisive presence. Compared to its predecessor, the new model has an increased length of 194 millimeters, a width increased by 21 millimeters and a height increased by 64 millimeters. These expanded dimensions they improve space for both passengers and the trunk, which offers a maximum capacity of 560-1,470 liters, depending on the model variant. The BMW iX2, the fully electric version, offers a load capacity of between 525 and 1,400 litres.

It has a distinctive front end with LED headlights and a BMW kidney grille, which is also available with lighting BMW Iconic Glow. The vehicle’s silhouette features a roofline that flows seamlessly to the rear, creating a coupe-like silhouette. Specific design elements, such as flared wheel arches and rear lights, add a sporty touch, while M Sport package options offer additional aerodynamic details.
The new BMW X2 also offers one wide choice of colors for the exteriors, with two solid colors and eleven metallic ones including the new Fire Red metallic variant. Additionally, BMW Individual options are available for those looking for an even more personalized touch.
The interior of the new BMW X2 is characterized by a modern, premium and sporty atmosphere. The instrument panel houses the BMW Curved Display, flanked by a “floating” armrest with integrated control panel. There are two cup holders and a smartphone tray with indirect lighting and wireless charging.
The seats offer various upholstery options, including leather Vernasca and Veganza tunnelsta, with the option of sports seats, electric adjustment with memory function and lumbar support. Standard equipment includes dual-zone automatic climate control, BMW Maps navigation system, Sport leather steering wheel and many driver assistance features. The range of options allows for complete customisation, including the panoramic glass roof and the electric tow hook.
Engines and technology
The BMW iX2 xDrive30 fully electric has two integrated drive units that produce 230 kW/313 hp and offers a range of 417-449 km. The adaptive recovery function and new charging technology maximize energy efficiency.
The high-performance model, the BMW X2 M35i xDrive, with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 221 kW/300 hp. The change Steptronic seven-speed dual-clutch transmission is standard for all petrol and diesel engines. But the new BMW X2 offers a full range of engines, including highly efficient three-cylinder and diesel engines.

The systems of driving assistance, such as brake assist, collision warning, lane control and many others, improve comfort and safety. Options include advanced technologies such as the steering assistant, the adaptive cruise control and so on.
The new BMW X2 takes advantage the latest version of the BMW iDrive operating system. BMW Digital Premium offers a large selection of apps and streaming services, while the cloud-based BMW Maps navigation system offers the function Augmented View.
