BMW announces the new BMW X2 and the first BMW iX2

The instrument panel houses the BMW Curved Display, flanked by a “floating” armrest with integrated control panel. There are two cup holders and a smartphone tray with indirect lighting and wireless charging.

The seats offer various upholstery options, including leather Vernasca and Veganza tunnelsta, with the option of sports seats, electric adjustment with memory function and lumbar support. Standard equipment includes dual-zone automatic climate control, BMW Maps navigation system, Sport leather steering wheel and many driver assistance features. The range of options allows for complete customisation, including the panoramic glass roof and the electric tow hook.

Engines and technology

The BMW iX2 xDrive30 fully electric has two integrated drive units that produce 230 kW/313 hp and offers a range of 417-449 km. The adaptive recovery function and new charging technology maximize energy efficiency.

The high-performance model, the BMW X2 M35i xDrive, with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 221 kW/300 hp. The change Steptronic seven-speed dual-clutch transmission is standard for all petrol and diesel engines.
