The new design aspects underline the close conceptual and technological links between the fully electric Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) for the premium midsize class, the BMW iX and the BMW i4.

The European premiere for the new BMW iX3 will take place during the IAA Mobility 2021 in Munich. Production for both the local market and export will begin in September 2021 in Shenyang, China at the BMW Brilliance Automotive joint venture plant.

The vehicle will be available in the EU from autumn 2021, although orders will be possible immediately: the base price for Italy will be 70,900 euros including VAT.

An exceptionally wide selection of driver assistance systems are available as standard, including Driving Assistant Professional with Steering and Lane Control Assistant, Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go function, automatic Speed ​​Limit Assist and route monitoring. The Parking Assistant with Reversing Assist Camera and Reversing Assistant is also standard.
