Thanks to the new Bonus Cinema it will be possible to enter the cinema paying a reduced price. Let’s see the initiative in detail
It’s been a tough time for cinema. The arrival of the pandemic, which forced cinemas to close for an extended period, seemed to have given the coup de grace to a sector already in difficulty in recent years. The data provided by Siae speak for themselves: if 306 million viewers were registered in 2019, only 84 million were counted in 2021. Fortunately, however, it was decided not to stand by and watch. The Minister of Culture Gennaro Sangiuliano in fact he spoke of a new one Bonus Cinema arriving, which will allow you to enter the hall with a reduction in the cost of the ticket.
How does the Cinema Bonus work?
Before arriving at the cash desk of the cinema, it is good to understand how this new bonus works, to avoid sadly staying dry. To receive the reduction will be required a single requirement basic: be in possession of the Spid. In fact, the digital identity will make it possible to generate a Qr Code, which will be valid as a coupon and which must be presented at the ticket office. The discount will allow viewers to pay no more than 4 euro per ticket.
The initiative will go on until the foreseen budget is used up, equal to 10 million. A figure already prepared in the decree of 17 May 2022 by Dario FranceschiniMinister of Culture before Sangiuliano and then converted into law on 15 July.

Sangiuliano, a guest on the Porta a Porta program, said he was determined to fight the crisis that has been afflicting the world of cinema and movie theaters for too long. The Minister confessed:
I know it’s just a drop in the bucket, it’s certainly not the solution to the big screen crisis problem. However, it is a first step in getting people back into the theater. Big things begin with small things.
Unfortunately the Bonus does not yet have a fixed date in which it will come into effect. We just have to be patient and, in the meantime, run to request the Spid, if you still don’t have it!
