After the spread of some rumors according to which in 2023 there would be no new Call of Duty, but only a large DLC of the last title released, now however, according to a recent rumor, this year, as usual, we can expect a separate chapter in the saga. According to Insider Gaming, in fact, it seems that the incoming chapter was initially born as a large additional content for Modern Warfare 2, then becoming a stand-alone game to all intents and purposes.
However, it seems that the new release will be strongly connected to the famous Modern Warfare trilogy, even if it is not clear for now what this connection consists of. Activision currently has not yet released updates on new projects in the pipeline, therefore the advice is, as always, to take such news with a grain of salt, as it is only unconfirmed rumors.
