Change at the top for the Renault brand: Fabrice Cambolive is the new CEO

As of 1 February 2023, Fabrice Cambolive will assume the role of CEO of the Renault brand. He will report to Luca de Meo, CEO of the Group. Cambolive was already a member of the Groupe Renault Leadership Team.

As CEO, Cambolive will leverage the Renault Brand Management Committee to consolidate sustainable and profitable development. He will also ensure the transformation of the brand with the launch of 14 new vehicles of the brand by 2025, promoting its expansion in Europe and international markets. Luca de Meo, CEO of the Renault Group, commented on the new appointment as follows:

“I am proud that Fabrice Cambolive, with his 30 years of experience in the Group, is taking over the reins of the Renault brand. With his commitment, his international experience and in-depth knowledge of the Group, he will be able to continue to ensure the growth of the Brand in the value-creating segments. I’m counting on him to lead the teams in the profound transformation that the Renault brand will undergo in the coming years.”

Let’s get to know Fabrice Cambolive better, new CEO of the Renault brand

Fabrice Cambolive is 54 years old and graduated from TBS Education in Toulouse. He took his first steps in the Renault Group in 1992, where he held various positions for twenty years. His international assignments concerned sales and marketing in Spain, Switzerland, France, Germany and Romania.

In 2011, he was appointed Sales and Marketing Director of the Eurasia Region and of Renault Russia. In 2015, however, he became General Manager of Renault do Brasil and then, in 2017, he was promoted to Director of Operations for the Africa, Middle East, Asia and Pacific Region. Four years later, in 2021, he became Sales and Operations Director of the Renault marque, responsible for developing the Renaulution strategy on all markets and transforming the marque’s business model. In May 2022, Fabrice Cambolive was appointed COO of the Renault brand.
