On the occasion of the Italian release, the trailer of the film, along with some statements by the director which explain the genesis of the film:

I have always been thrilled with the amazing world of children. As a director, I am genuinely attracted to young people, they are my inspiration: their passion, originality, imagination and freedom, which allows them to embark on their adventures. (…) I didn’t want to make a serious controversy on child labor. I wanted to make a film that was fun, energetic, joyful, full of adventure and courage, that would show how capable, resourceful and resilient these children are. To tackle dark issues like child labor, you need empathy and humor, so I decided to create a dangerous adventure in search of a treasure. The word “treasure” moves everyone and means something different for everyone, because it is an unexpected hope of finding something special, magical.

Empathy ed humor: these are the feelings that guided the director in the making of the film, which also emerge from these first images of the film.
