Called DIS-2650AP, it’s manufactured by D-Link, and features a rugged design and compact size for reliable, high-speed wireless connections for industrial environments.
D-Link introduces DIS-2650AP for industrial use
D-Link announces the addition of the AC1200 Wave 2 Industrial Access Point (DIS-2650AP) to its range of industrial-grade networking solutions. A model capable of guaranteeing reliable wireless connectivity even in harsh environments. All characterized by a robust and compact design. The Industrial AC1200 Wave 2 Access Point features state-of-the-art technology 802.11ac Wave 2. This is capable of offering combined dual-band wireless speeds fino a 1200 Mbps.
The new access point has a sturdy metal frame and a wide operating temperature range from -20 to 65 ° C. DIS-2650AP is also equipped with an integrated 2kV and 15kV ESD protection. Enough to ensure continuous operation even in the event of overloads or electrical discharges. The D-Link device demonstrates all its versatility by being configurable in various operating modes. These include: access point, wireless distribution system (WDS) with access point, WDS / bridge (without AP transmission) and wireless client.
The installation also lends itself to all needs. In fact the DIS-2650AP can be easily mounted on a DIN rail or wall and has the option to be powered via PoE or via DC input. This makes it ideal for placement in hard-to-reach areas – to provide connectivity wherever it’s needed.
