In the past few hours, Spike Chunsoft has announced the European release date of Danganronpa Decadence, the collection for Nintendo Switch that contains all the episodes released plus a little extra
Announced with a trailer during the last E3 2021, Danganronpa Decadence is the new collection dedicated to the franchise, after the Trilogy already released on PlayStation 4. We admit we were a bit disappointed, because we were hoping for a new main chapter or spin-off that be it, also because the ending of Danganronpa V3 made us understand that the company has a whole world in its hands to exploit. The fact is that for now we will have to settle for Decadence and that, in the past few hours, Spike Chunsoft has unveiled the European release date scheduled for the collection.
Danganronpa Decadence will be available, exclusively on Nintendo Switch, starting next November 4th in Japan and December 3rd in Europe and North America. It will be available in both digital and physical format and, in the latter case, there will be two editions. A standard edition, including only the collection, at € 59.99 and a Collector’s Edition at € 99.99. Physical editions in Europe will be published by Numskull Games.
Danganronpa Decadence: we finally know the European release date!
Danganronpa Decadence will contain, in order, the three main chapters of Danganronpa in their Anniversary Edition versions. Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair and Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony will therefore be present. In addition, to pay homage to the popular mini-game of the third chapter, the latter has been spun off and made a standalone spin-off from the totolo Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp. Great and inexplicable absent the spin-off TPS Ultimate Despair Girls.
