We are now also approaching the end of February, but 2022 was not really over yet: the DICE Awards were missing. The twenty-sixth edition of the convention ended recently and once again this year awarded the best video games in various categories. Hosted and promoted by AIAS (Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences), this year’s event was presented by Stella Chung (IGN) and Greg Miller (Kinda Funny). Not only games and studies among the winners at the DICE Awards 2023!
The DICE Awards have 23 different categories this year and, as expected, the winners were Elden Ring and God of War Ragnarok. You can find them listed below, with the winning title highlighted in bold. On the stage of the DICE Awards 2023, not only video games and their development studios were honored, but this year an author also rose to the honors: Tim Schafer. The creator of the first two Monkey Island games and founder of Double Fine Productions was inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences about more than thirty years proudly spent in the industry.
