Netflix and BioWare announce a new animated series, which will debut on the Dragon Age: Absolution platform in December
Geeked Week 2022 was chosen to make the big announcement. Dragon Age: Absolution will debut on Netflix in December. New Netflix animated series based on a videogame saga.
Mairghread Scott will be showrunner of the series, while the production will see Red Dog Culture House.
The series was born from a collaboration between the streaming platform and the production house of the Dragon Age videogame.
It’s about a fantasy videogame series which, since its debut in 2009, has taken its players to the fantastic world of Thedas with rich stories, unforgettable characters and as fantastic as deadly places to discover.
The latest Dragon Age game, titled Dreadwolf, will be out shortly, focusing on a single player who continues to build on this incredible adventure.
The series is created in collaboration with BioWare, who are the award-winning creators of the video game.
The title will be Dragon Age: Absolution, will be set in Tevinter and features a set of new and incredible characters inspired by the story of Dragon Age. So we are ready to meet elves, wizards, knights, Qunari, Red Templars, demons and many more.

Then also the fantastic world of Dragon Age has attempted the leap and took his world into a new media (the one that is all the rage these days) by becoming a TV series on one of the most followed streaming platforms ever.
You just have to hope that game lovers will not be disappointed. The only way to find out is to wait a few months for the series to launch.
