Even though we officially know that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf has been in development for so long, actual details on the game have been scarce until now. BioWare has limited itself to spreading brief details about the RPG over time but recently, thanks to the blog posts by a game developer, exciting new information has been revealed. Among these were revealed the game character customization and progression mechanics.
Skill tree and more in Dragon Age: Dreadwolf!
While no gameplay footage has been shown, and the details themselves come from very early development ideas, BioWare does highlight a few key elements, with build variety to the fore. There will be more skill treeseach relating to specific classes, albeit in true style CRPGplayers will be able to unlock skills from all trees by enabling build multiclasse. According to the developer:
In the game we will have features such as our character’s stats page in detail, majestic hand-crafted places that you will go to explore and more. Title design is a topic we could talk about endlessly. It’s a topic we’ll likely touch upon again in the future as well, when we talk about other parts of game development.
It remains to be seen how long it will be before BioWare is ready to share more concrete details about the game, although the developer recently confirmed that the project has reached alpha version. Recent rumors have also offered a glimpse into footage of the early developmentwho hinted that the game will feature a new action-oriented battle system inspired by 2018’s God of War.
