Techland’s development team has made it known that the next Dying Light 2 DLC, scheduled for release on October 13, 2022, has been postponed to November 10. The downloadable content will be called Bloody Ties and it should introduce, among other innovations, a new location called Carnage Hall.

Using their official Twitter profile, the developers have motivated the choice to postpone the DLC for a month. The post reads: “We have made the decision to postpone the launch of Bloody Ties until to allow the team more time to fix some bugs“.

The studio then added that the developers of Dying Light 2 would answer any further questions with a Q&A session on the game’s Discord server.

Bloody Ties: what we know about the new Dying Light 2 DLC

Announced during Gamescom 2022, Bloody Ties was presented with an official trailer (found below). The DLC will follow the story of the protagonist Aiden through “a tournament in which people are willing to sacrifice everything”.

The DLC’s Steam page reads: “Hone your skills to defeat your enemies and form allies for glory. You will soon realize that the pursuit of fame is only the beginning and you will find yourself involved in a plot for power and revenge. “

According to what we know Bloody Ties will introduce Carnage Hall, a new location “full of richness and splendor”, despite the post-apocalyptic context of the outside world. Players will also be able to get their hands on loads of new gear, including a new weapon called Shield glove.

There will also be the Spectaclespresented as “multi-purpose arena shows” that will tell “traditional stories and fairy tales with an evil twist”.
