If you remember well the rumors of some time ago had talked about five titles exclusively for Xbox, aka the green side of gaming. In part, the rumors turned out to be true and here we are, in fact, talking to you about one of these mysterious projects supervised by Microsoft. Just as other rumors claimed (the nodes came to a head on the occasion of yesterday’s conference atE3 2021), Avalanche Studios is partnering with Xbox Game Studios on a new title: Contraband. Contraband, the new title of Avalanche presented at the conference Microsoft dell’E3 2021 and developed in collaboration with Xbox Game Studios, takes place in the Bayan of the 70s. Described as a “smuggler’s paradise”, it will be playable in cooperative mode. We offer you the first trailer released in the player below.

Even described as Avalanche’s “most ambitious and spectacular” game to date, Contraband is developed withApex Engine, the same graphics engine used for the series Just Cause. The title was designed to take full advantage of the Xbox Series X / S. While we haven’t seen any sequence excerpts played yet, it looks like the game will feature a vast open world with quite innovative gameplay. More details on the title along with the world of Bayan will be revealed soon.

If that wasn’t obvious enough, Contraband will only come to Xbox Series X / S and PC.
