At the EA Play Live 2021 virtual showcase there will be no space for Star Wars, EA announced it with a short post on Twitter
In recent months, there have been rumors of an alleged sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. With the’EA Play Live scheduled for next week, it looked like there would be an announcement or at least a teaser. Unfortunately though, the official EA Star Wars Twitter account has confirmed that no new games from Star Wars will be presented at the event EA Play Live 2021. EA Play Live 2021: no Star Wars themed games at the event but the future may hold “surprises”
All Star Wars lovers will be left dry in the short term: no themed games Star Wars will be shown at the event EA Play Live 2021. Despite this (for many) disappointing announcement, i can’t wait to “celebrate next year with you”, which is when she shares her “vision for the Galaxy far, far away!” If nothing else, these cryptic words could allude to a possible announcement or two next year. Maybe even news on the next big one Star Wars Battlefront? That wouldn’t be too strange, though given DICE’s focus on Battlefield 2042 for the foreseeable future, it remains to be seen.

Along with Star Wars, Electronic Arts’ upcoming BioWare titles Dragon Age and Mass Effect will skip the show. The EA Play Live will be broadcast on July 22nd and it is confirmed that it will include titles such as Lost in Random, Battlefield 2042 and Apex Legends. Rumors also cite that a reboot of Dead Space by Motive Studios.
