Recently, Electronic Arts confirmed that, for purely logistical reasons, the EA Play Live 2022 is officially canceled: let’s find out all the details together

The conference usually had its own space just around E3 and was used by the company to show something of the upcoming or not yet announced titles.
A representative of the company said:
We love that EA Play Live is our way of connecting with our players and being able to share all the news with you. However, this year we are not in a position to show you everything on one date. Some pretty cool things are happening in our major studios and we can reveal a lot about these projects this year when the time is right for each of them.
EA Play Live 2022 canceled: what will happen to E3 this year?
EA Play Live conferences were born way back in 2016, when Electronic Arts decided to give life to its own events away from E3, to which they have come back close over the years. Following the Coronavirus pandemic, the event, as well as practically all those related to the industry, was transformed into digital form or hosted in a studio without an audience. And although the physical edition of E3 2022 has been canceled, the digital event is still scheduled, despite some reports and rumors that would say otherwise.
Although the EA Play Live 2022 has therefore been canceled, some rumors would instead confirm a Microsoft event in June, right in the vicinity of E3.
