The YouTube channel Best Electric Vehicle has compiled a list of the best 5 electric cars that will be on the market in 2022 based on the autonomy they are able to guarantee with a single charge. Let’s go and discover them together.

The highest step of the podium belongs to Tesla Model S which with a single charge can travel between 560 and 643 km. The range increases to a full 800 km if you don’t push too hard on the accelerator.

In second place, among the cars with the best range of 2022 is the Lucid Air, model that rose to the fore for its battery from 105 kWh which guarantees (according to the EPA mixed cycle tests) something like 835 km. If driven mainly in the city, the range increases further to almost 900 km with a single recharge of the powerful battery.

The podium is completed with new Mercedes-Benz EQS 450+. Also in this case the distinctive feature (for autonomy) is a very large battery, which reaches 107.8 kWh, a model that allows at the EV of the Bavarian house to reach 640 km in the mixed cycle, even if in particular conditions (little traffic at a constant pace) it can travel 800 km.

With a 93.4 kWh battery, capable of recharging up to 262 kW the new EV of the German brand should guarantee over 480 km of autonomy on a single charge.

Finally the ranking ends with the BMW i4 eDrive40 one of the models that more than others competes with the Tesla Model 3. The German sedan puts on the plate an 84 kWh battery of which 80.7 kWh available that allow it to travel 480 km when driven under certain conditions. In the WLTP cycle, it can grind up to 560km.
