Scheduled from February 17thhas already conquered the public in the first weekend of programming in theaters.

Ennio: a vivid story over time

A huge tribute work, dedicated to the long collaboration (and friendship) between the director Giuseppe Tornatore and Ennio Morricone. Through testimonials and interviews (such as B. Bertolucci; Quentin Tarantino; Clint Eastwood, Marco Bellocchio; Dario Argento; the Taviani brothers, Carlo Verdone); a vivid tale in memory and in everyone’s soul, passing from the first years of childhood, to the love for music; up to the latest hits.

According to what was released in a note from the board:

A tape to the passion, research, the author’s story of an exceptional protagonist that makes the emotion of a film unique that, beyond music and cinema, transmits the profound meaning of a tribute that represents, at the same time, a sentimental journey and great cinema, lectio magistralis and the story of an absolute genius born in a world of disarming simplicity. It makes us feel a sense of deep nostalgia for ‘our’ Morricone but also for that great and unrepeatable cinema.

Successfully presented Out of Competition at the Mostra del Venice cinema and at the Bif & st; distributed by Lucky Red. With Subject, script and direction by Giuseppe Tornatore, the music by Ennio Morricone.
