OnePlus 10 Pro: everything we know about the new smartphone

Design and camera

A while ago OnePlus released a teaser image that previewed the design of its new flagship smartphone. Specifically, it’s a preview of the rear camera layout, rather than the actual phone. Enough to confirm that the new OnePlus 10 Pro will have three rear cameras which will once again carry the Hasselblad brand. On the other hand, the collaboration with the Swedish camera manufacturer began last year with the release of OnePlus 9, which achieved excellent results in terms of photo color adjustment. And it rightfully continued with its worthy successor.

Furthermore, the image would also have confirmed the detail of the embossed camera design, previously disliked by 91Mobiles. As for the specifics of the photographic sector, there is no definite news yet, but reports refer that the OnePlus 10 Pro will (most likely) have a 48 MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide, an 8MP telephoto lens and a 32 MP selfie camera. Beyond this, another interesting detail that we can see from the image is the three-stage ringer button. With just one movement, in fact, this allows you to set the phone in silent or vibrate mode.

Technical specifications

As you can imagine, OnePlus certainly did not spare itself in terms of the technical equipment of its new flagship smartphone. And indeed, it has even taken a step to surpass Samsung, equipping the OnePlus 10 Pro with the latest powerful chip from Qualcomm, it Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Beyond this, it is certain that the phone will arrive on the market with a design with dimensions of 163 × 73.9 × 8.55mm – which makes it as big as a Galaxy S21 Ultra -, with the equipment of a display 120Hz Fluid AMOLED con LTPO. As already mentioned, the model will have a 5000 mAh battery and will support 80W SuperVOOC wired charging, 50W AirVOOC wireless charging and reverse charging.

Finally, the OnePlus 10 Pro will be available with the bundle of OxygenOS 12 basato su Android 12. And that’s not all, yet. From what we know, the smartphone will have 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM, and a storage space of 128 GB or 256 GB. For the rest of the details, however, we should wait for OnePlus to release new updates. In any case, from what we have said so far it is quite clear that the new OnePlus 10 Pro will indeed be a smartphone worthy of attention. At this point, in fact, we just have to wait for it to be available on the local market.
