Mediatonic had originally planned to release Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout per Nintendo Switch, Xbox One e Xbox Series X / S this summer. However, as has often been the case over the past year and beyond, a delay has just been announced for those releases. Mediatonic, on the other hand, has confirmed that the cross-play functionality is in the works, in short, this is the proverbial “glass half full”, no doubt about it.

The developer “realized” that the previously announced release schedule would not allow time to “include all the new and juicy features”That Mediatonic is currently working on. This is the reason for the delay for releases Switch e Xbox of Fall Guys.
Unfortunately, the studio has not ruled on a new launch window, although the same has clearly reiterated the intention of wanting to debut as soon as possible on the gaming platforms in question. Mediatonic added that the aforementioned new releases of Fall Guys are “really worth the wait” and that all staff are grateful for the community’s patience. This will also provide time to add the crossplay to the mix, which should be available by the launch of the Switch and Xbox versions.
As for what current players can expect, the “heart of the team” continues to work hard on the new content. The update of the season 4.5 is coming and will include two new rounds along with new costumes. Other new content is also in the works. Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is currently available on PS4 and PC. Mediatonic’s owning company, Tonic Games Group, was recently acquired by Epic Games.
