Until Monday, August 8, Far Cry 6 will be available to play for free on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Stadia and PC. The free weekend also includes all downloadable content (DLC) released so far.
Any progress made over the weekend will be retained if you decide to purchase the game after the promotion ends. And that’s not all: those who decide to buy Far Cry 6 from Monday 8 August will be able to take advantage of special discounts. These include the 60% off the full game (on both Standard and Gold editions) ei50% on the purchase of the Season Pass.

Released in October last year, Far Cry 6 catapults gamers into an extremely realistic world held in check by the bloody dictator Anton Castillo. The latter is played by Giancarlo Espositofamous actor, entered the common imagination thanks to the iconic character of Gustavo Fring from Breaking Bad e Better Call Saul.
In the game review, edited by our Erika, we read:
“If you loved the previous chapters, the game will make you feel at home, without however giving you that perennial feeling of dejà-vù thanks to the new features introduced this year. If, on the other hand, you are new to the saga, do not panic: the very nature of the series, made up of separate episodes and new characters, allows you to enjoy the game without difficulty, slowly learning its mechanics and gradually discovering the mammoth amount of content present ” .
Xbox Game Pass subscribers will also be happy to hear that Far Cry 5 has been available in the catalog since last month.
