Some players are having trouble upgrading physical copies of Far Cry 6 for PS4 to the digital version for PS5

A workaround for gamers who are unable to upgrade Far Cry 6 from PS4 to PS5 is to switch to a Russian PlayStation Network account to get the free upgrade. However, this would also result in the loss of any game progress or DLC registered on the UK account.
Ubisoft has confirmed that it is investigating this issue. In an interview with Eurogamer, the behemoth said: “The team is aware of reports that some players are unable to update their PlayStation 4 version of Far Cry 6 to the PlayStation 5 version. We are investigating the issue and will provide an update soon “.
