FIGC: applications for scholarships in Esport Management are open

The fourth edition of MasterEsports starts on 25 September. Thanks to a collaboration between FIGC and EsportManagement it is possible to apply for three scholarships by 14 September. Here are all the details on how to submit your application.

The FIGC in support of the world of esports

The enthusiasm surrounding esports will never be talked about enough. After basketball’s entry into the export scene, there are also interesting news for football. In fact the FIGC – Italian Football Federation – announces the continuation of the already active collaboration with Master Executive in Esports Management. The latter is the first Italian course dedicated to the world of management in the export sector.

All in a period of great ferment for the eFoot, whose eNazionale is back from the very first successes. The Master is aimed primarily at young enthusiasts and professionals in other fields. This is because the virtual sports market is relatively virgin, and different personalities can all adapt to the virtual sports market. In fact, the Master aims to develop skills and specializations, for favor the interaction between traditional sport, esports and wellness.

Three scholarships are available for the most deserving students

MasterEsports, now in its fourth edition, offers three different scholarships. A format that follows in the footsteps of previous editions, to allow fans to enter this world professionally. The scholarships are intended for the 3 best candidates in the ranking, who are between 18 and 30 years old. The value is equal, respectively, to 75%, 50% and 25% of the enrollment fee for the master.

The recipients will also have the opportunity to closely observe the work of the FIGC staff during various activities of the eFoot project. After all, what better training than to observe professionals at work? Furthermore, the beneficiaries of the scholarships will be able, at the end of the master (December 2021), to submit their own development proposal to the FIGC regarding the next eFoot season.

The Executive Master in Esports Management is a course created in collaboration with the School of Management LUM. Besides develop skills in team and pro-player management, the master aims to train students on all aspects related to export projects. The structure of the Master includes an executive course in Milan in a weekend formula (10 appointments on Saturday in physical form or online) and is enriched by sector events. Students will be able to take an active part in it, closely observing the entire organizational process.

How to apply for scholarships

To apply, just visit the official page, and send an email. Once the applications have been collected, a ranking will be drawn up based on objective parameters and digital interviews. It is not possible to apply if you have professional contracts in the world of football.

Applications must be submitted by email to [email protected] by 6:00 pm on Tuesday 14th Septembere. The ranking will be officially announced on September 15th on the Mastersport portal, while the interviews for the top 10 will be organized on Friday 17 September via Teams. The start of the course is scheduled for Saturday 25 September.
