Pending the update, Chapter 2 of Fortnite has come to an end with a final event that also unveiled an incredible new crossover with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson
Fortnite continues its unstoppable race in the Olympus of modern video games, at least in terms of turnover and earnings for an incredibly lucky Epic Games, and has recently returned to the crest of the wave thanks to the official reveal of Chapter 3. An early reveal, unfortunately, from a leak of the new game map that will be available with the update and which turns out to be, literally, that of the last chapter simply overturned and filled with new content. In short, the game narrative will move forward at a brisk pace and Chapter 2 has officially had its end, decreed by an in-game event called “The End” and which concluded Season 8.
An event that actually began very calmly, but with a timer that certainly heralded something nefarious. At the ninth minute of the timer, the Cube Monsters have begun to invade the reality of the game, equipped with legendary weapons and deadly turrets. At the end of the timer, inter-dimensional hell has begun. The Queen of Cubes, already seen floating above a pyramid-like structure, emitted a ray of light that literally pierced the sky, from which a fleet of UFOs began to flow and invaded the game space. Fortnite: the Rock also arrives!
The most epochal entry into the scene, in all of this, was that of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, a new face within the Epic Games gaming landscape and that heralds a spectacular collaboration at least (confirming the rumors of the past few days). The Rock is none other than the rumored The Foundation, and will therefore be part of the roster of playable characters in the near future. The Foundation is the leader of the Seven, and was present in the Fortnite narrative already within Season 6 of Chapter 2.
