Fresh, the new thriller starring Sebastian Stan and Daisy Edgar-Jones, will be available in the Star section of Disney Plus from April 15
Among the films that will soon be added to the Disney Plus platform, there is Fresh. The thriller will be available from April 15in the section dedicated to adults, Star. The film has already enjoyed considerable success at the Sundance Film Festivalon January 20, 2022, when it premiered.
Plot
Noa she is a girl with no family ties, who can only count on her best friend Mollie. She tired of dating apps, which only make her meet the wrong guys, he decides to leave his number to Steve, a plastic surgeon met in a grocery store. The two decide to go out for a date and, soon, passion explodes between them. Rashly the girl decides to spend a romantic weekend with Steve. Arriving in a chalet, however, Noa realizes that her new boyfriend is hiding unusual appetites.

In Fresh, Noa is played by the young woman Daisy Edgar-Jones, previously seen in Normal People (2020). As Steve, we find Sebastian Stan, famous for the recent TV series Pam and Tommy. Also in the cast Jonica T. Gibbs (Twenties, 2020-2021) as Mollie e Charlotte LeBon (Anthropoid, 2016) in those of Ann. They complete the group Dayo Okeniyi (Runner Runner, 2013) ad interpretare Paul e Andrea Bang (Light, 2019) to impersonate Penny.
The direction of the film is by Mimi Cavemaking his debut in this role, while the screenplay is by Lauryn Kahn. The film is produced by Adam McKay e Kevin J. Messickper Hyperobject Industrieswith Maeve Cullinan in the role of co-producer.
The intent of the screenwriter was to create a horror thriller, which, however, would also be suitable for those who are not a lover of the genre.. For this reason, the scenes of the film, while arousing strong and often disturbing emotions, never push themselves to the limit of splatter. For the contents present, Fresh is however forbidden to minors under the age of eighteen.
