As already announced by Geoff Keighley in his official Twitter profile, during the Opening Night Live of Gamscom 2021 we could see a new trailer of the Sledghammer Call of Duty Vanguard, thanks to which we could see some pieces of the campaign and the release date
Call of Duty Vanguard, which we already knew existed, had been foretold by Geoff Keighley via his official Twitter profile. The game was in fact part of the list of games that the presenter had announced to be present at the opening conference of the Gamescom 2021, so as to attract the attention of the spectators. What fans were wondering though was the nature of the trailer. Would we have seen a gameplay, or a story trailer? Well, during this Opening Night Live of Gamescom 2021, we were able to see a trailer of Call of Duty Vanguard which, in addition to showing us part of the campaign, revealed the official release date.
Call of Duty Vanguard: the trailer and the date seen at Gamescom 2021
In the Call of Duty Vanguard trailer that we saw during the Gamescom 2021 Opening Night Live, we find the character of Polina (interpreted by Laura Bailey), a Soviet nurse who finds herself in the middle of an attack by Nazi planes in Stalingrad. We will see her wake up, terrified, among the German soldiers trying to survive, and then see through a flashback the beginning of the attack. On the official Gamescom channel you can also find an interview by Geoff Keighley to Sledgehammer developers.
The official release date of the expected Call of Duty Vanguard is therefore scheduled for November 5, 2021.
