God of War is Game Ready: NVIDIA optimizations arrive

God of War, one of the best action games of all time, NVIDIA DLSS and NVIDIA Reflex support will be available immediately.

Rilasciati i driver NVIDIA Game Ready per God of War

The GeForce Game Ready driver arrives today which immediately includes optimizations for God of War, one of the best action games of all time, and for gamers only GeForce RTX support for NVIDIA DLSS e NVIDIA Reflex. NVIDIA Game Ready drivers are often used to deliver new features to GeForce users. This Game Ready driver adds support for NVIDIA DLDSR, an enhancement of the Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR) with AI, plus several new Freestyle filters that combine to improve the image quality of your favorite classics. God of War is in fact only the latest blockbuster to be equipped with NVIDIA RTX technology. Both NVIDIA DLSS and NVIDIA Reflex are supported at launch.

Thanks to the technology of AI rendering and dedicated Tensor Core processors found exclusively on GeForce RTX GPUs, DLSS accelerates God of War’s frame rate while retaining the game’s stunning graphics detail to deliver image quality similar to native resolution.

When enabled, the performance is boosted up to 45% in 4K, allowing gamers to play God of War with phenomenal graphics, higher frame rates, and uncompromising image quality.

Responsive games are more engaging, less frustrating, and allow players to be more precise in their inputs. The fast-paced action and spectacular combos of God of War are the key to overcoming the game’s toughest challenges. If a PC’s system latency is high, the gameplay feels slow and the controls are unresponsive. Combos are harder to chain, strenuous jumps are untimely, and the experience feels slow. NVIDIA Reflex can quickly and easily reduce system latency by up to 22%. This applies to both the GeForce 900 series and newer GPUs, making gameplay more snappy and responsive with more precise combos.

DLDSR – Uses spare GPU cycles to improve image quality

Gamers who prefer titles that don’t tax the GPU (e.g. classic games like Prey, Starcraft 2, Diablo III, etc.) can enable DLDSR. This allows them to use the cycles of their spare GPU and further increase the visual quality. The DLDSR is particularly beneficial for gamers on monitor 1080p o 1440p where the GPUs are not working at full capacity. This can improve the graphics of their favorite games with less noticeable impact on performance.

The DLDSR improves the DSR employing a Tensor core accelerated AI network that has been trained to recognize lines and edges to distinguish aliasing and texture details. Thanks to the increased accuracy of this AI-based approach, the DLDSR is capable of improve image quality, requiring fewer pixels to render than non-DL super sampling.

For example, DLDSR set to a factor of 2.25x gives visually similar results (i.e. greater clarity and temporal stability) to those that DSR provides when set to 4x, but with Much higher FPS. DLDSR is available from the NVIDIA Control Panel and works in most games.
