Gran Turismo 7 will require internet connection for the single player campaign

Among the first confirmations relating to Gran Turismo 7 we need to be connected to the internet even in the case of the single player campaign

Among the most loved franchises under Sony we can consider, without a doubt, the racing saga developed by Polyphony Digital, capable of attracting the attention of the players to each new iteration. And in this sense too Gran Turismo 7 is preparing to repeat a similar situation, given the curiosity it has been able to arouse since its announcement. It is therefore no wonder how it was one of the most important titles shown during the last PlayStation Showcase, and that it has been the subject of a series of Additional Information thanks to an update that appeared on the PlayStation Blog. Among the various information released, however, there is one that we do not know how it will be received by the community, and which concerns the need for an internet connection even in the case of the single player campaign.

Gran Turismo 7 will also require an internet connection for the single player campaign

The brief gameplay glimpses shown at the streaming event, combined with the long-awaited launch date, demonstrated how the game Polyphony is closer than you could have imagined, as the post appeared in the PlayStation Blog. However, the emergence of the need to have one is surprising constant internet connection also for the single player mode, a very unpleasant and unusual eventuality (even if not so rare, just think of Godfall), which we are sure will make more than one fan turn up the mouth.

Among the other game features they will require such situation, in addition, we also have the livery editor, Scapes (the peculiar photo mode present in the game), GT Cafe (the hub dedicated to our vehicle collection), GT Auto (the sector dedicated to customization) and the High-Speed Ring e Trial Mountain Circuits.

We remind you that, except for any postponements, Gran Turismo 7 is currently slated for the next March 4, 2022, in the PS4 and PS5 versions.
