GTA Trilogy: The game returns to PC via the Rockstar Launcher

The GTA Trilogy is back on PC after being removed from the Rockstar Launcher following several gameplay issues

On November 11, the GTA Trilogy: The Definitive Edition was finally made available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch and PC, for the latter only through the Rockstar Launcher. Although the title preload was made possible several days earlier for home consoles, for users who wanted to access the game on PC it was necessary to wait for the launch date of the digital version; and perhaps even this factor was to prove some problems that Rockstar was facing with its videogame platform, since before the official release.

GTA Trilogy for PC is back on the Rockstar Launcher

GTA Trilogy was indefinitely withdrawn from the store on PC as soon as it came out, and the reasons attributed were related to rather serious malfunctions to the Rockstar Launcher, which not only blocked access to the new collection, but made it unavailable not even any other games present in it, like Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA V. It was impossible for players to start the titles, and the removal of the trilogy was not followed by any explanation from the developer and the publisher.

Only on Sunday evening the game is finally over returned purchasable and the accessible platform. It is thought that these events may be due to some leaks concerning the most important files of the remasters, but there have been no official statements on the matter. However, Rockstar has announced the arrival of new improvements to the PC version, thanks to the fact that it has appeared quite little optimized, according to the opinions of the players who were able to try the game from day one.

In other news, it is believed possible the arrival of a remaster also regarding GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption, and possibly this could happen in case GTA Trilogy is successful enough.
