Forest Whitaker to star alongside Tom Hardy in Havoc, Netflix action thriller directed by Gareth Evans
Written, directed and produced by Gareth Evans, Havoc is an upcoming action movie that will be distributed by the worldwide streaming service, Netflix.
The plot of the film revolves around a detective who must fight his way through a criminal world to save a politician’s son after a drug deal gone wrong, all while unveiling a deep web of corruption and conspiracy that spreads throughout his city.

One of the strengths of the film is undoubtedly the stellar cast. Besides Tom Hardy (recently at the cinema with Capone and on television with Peaky Blinders and Taboo), which had already been previously confirmed, the news arrived today that another great actor will be part of the cast.
It is about Forest Whitaker, winner of numerous awards and accolades including an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for Best Actor for his portrayal of Ugandan Idi Amin in The Last King of Scotland.
The actor has a long career behind him: he has been the protagonist of numerous more or less important films, including Ghost Dog – The Samurai Code, The Butler – A Butler at the White House, Black Panther, Platoon, Bird and The Great Debaters – The power of the word.
We recently saw him star in the Epix Godfather of Harlem series (whose second season is due in April) as the legendary gangster Ellsworth “Bumpy” Johnson.
