Explorers, get ready for adventure! The LEGO Group revealed the LEGO Ideas “The Globe”
The set, consisting of 2,585 pieces, shows a splendid e realistic earth globe made with vintage bricks and all to be customized. To make the model even more special, the printed names of the continents and oceans that glow in the dark, so you can see your favorite place in the world at any time. Plus, once construction is complete, fans will be able to see the globe spin for real – the first time for a set LEGO.

The idea was presented on the platform LEGO Ideas, a LEGO initiative that allows fans to submit their brick creations to turn them into reality, once they have achieved the necessary grades. Creator of the LEGO Ideas concept “The Globe” is the French fan Guillaume Roussel, which drew inspiration from the stories of Jules Verne. Speaking about how this project came about, Guillaume said:
When I started thinking about design, I wondered what could be creative, educational and at the same time represent most of the world. And the answer was simply “the world itself”.
Federico Begher, Head of Global Marketing of the LEGO Group’s Adults line, added:
The wonderful thing about this set is that, with a little imagination, fans can discover the world through LEGO bricks. The globe represents dreams and aspirations of future travel, for all those who are looking for a bit of adventure or for those who want to get to know our planet better. When we looked at Guillaume’s set, we sensed the passion he had for travel and adventure, but also a desire to inspire construction enthusiasts from all over the world. Our designers also enjoyed this project very much, especially the challenge of spinning the model.
LEGO Ideas “The Globe” (21332) will be available in the LEGO Store and on the official website from February 1, 2022 and in Feltrinelli bookstores and on IBS.it since May 1, 2022, at the price of 199.99 €.
