Build Quality and Display | Honor Band 7 review
Let’s start immediately with one of the strengths of the device, the build quality. In fact, it is perceived very soon that we are faced with a smartband made with care and detail. You will not notice any imperfections or various creaks, everything is as it should be. Even the design, even if it doesn’t shine for its originality, manages to be appreciated and to give a good visual impact regardless of the dress or context in which it is used, in short, it will be good for any occasion. Also, the strap silicone is well made.
But let’s now move on to one of the fundamental aspects for a smartband, the display. The latter a large panel 1.47 inch AMOLED diagonal with a resolution of 194 x 368 pixels. The quality is very good, as is the fluidity, however don’t expect an automatic brightness adjustment given the absence of the sensor used.

The beating heart of this Honor Band 7 is certainly in the sensorsnot abundant, but quite accurate. In fact, advanced measurements such as the ECG are missing, however the detection of steps, sleep or heart rate is extremely precise. Too bad, as usual for this type of device, for the absence of a GPS module to accompany during training. You will have to rely on that of your smartphone, provided you connect it via Bluetooth.
On the autonomy front, however, nothing to say, the smartband manages to guarantee – more or less as promised – about 10 days of continuous use. Equally excellent is the autonomy in stand-by, with a slight constant discharge. Finally the recharge, which takes about 1 hour to reach 100% and which takes place via magnetic pins on the back, comfortable and practical.

The software is packed with features, and can help us manage incoming calls, notifications (which you can’t answer though), music, and even a remote shutter (Android only). Even the sports activities they are not few, about twenty, and which thanks to the coupling with the GPS of the smartphone are able to cover most of the request. Other features include heart rate and spO2 detection, sleep analysis, weather, breathing exercises, timer, alarm clock, smartphone search and more.
Last but not least, the companion app Honor Health, downloadable for free in the various stores. An application that is immediately elegant and pleasant, with well-finished graphics and a rather intuitive interface. However, it offers comprehensive graphics and an integrated store of watchfaces. The latter are not many, but almost all well cared for and pleasant for every situation.

I recommend this new Honor Band 7 mainly to those who want to approach this world for the first time, without having to spend a fortune, and still being faced with a complete and aesthetically pleasing product.
