The third edition of theEnterprise Dayorganized by Huawei Italy at the Sheraton Lake Como Hotel. During the conference, which this year was held under the theme “Digitalize the Future”, Huawei’s Enterprise division reaffirmed its commitment to act as a partner of companies of all sizes to support them in their digital transformation and build together an increasingly intelligent, connected and sustainable world.
The event was an opportunity for discussion and sharing with the entire ecosystem on the importance of research and development by new ICT technologiesfrom an ecological and sustainable point of view, to face the challenges that industry and society will face from here to 2030.
Il Huawei Italia CEO, Wilson Wangopened the event by welcoming the beyond 500 guests, between partners, customers and media representatives. During his speech, Wang underlined how digital transformation is proving to be a valuable tool for companies, especially at a time, like the current one, characterized by great uncertainty.
Huawei intends to accompany its partners and customers in this transition path with technologies “green“And at the forefront for every scenario, developed thanks to the incessant and substantial investments in research and innovation which in 2021 alone amounted to 22.4 billion dollarsand with consulting and training programs aimed at strengthening the entire ecosystem.
Huawei: in Italy for 18 years
In Italiawhere Huawei has been present since eighteen yearsthe company contributes to digitization, now a strategic cornerstone for a sustainable development of the country’s economy, also through a series of initiatives that address some important challenges: the digital skills gap, the competitiveness of Small and Medium Enterprisesthe environment protection and the participation of women in the world of technology.
During the event, it was highlighted how the digitization of numerous services, triggered by the pandemic, has led to an exponential growth of digital economy and, a significant increase in corporate investments in digital transformation paths. In this scenario, Huawei, thanks to the skills accumulated over the years 30 years of experience in the ICT sectoris proposed as a strategic partner for i its enterprise customersamong which it also counts approx 100 operators around the worldsupporting them in the creation of an increasingly digital and sustainable world through connectivity solutions, cloud e computing.

The division Enterpriseprovides innovative solutions and products including Public cloud, green data center, Wi-Fi and all-flash storage increasingly energy efficient for an environmentally conscious ICT industry, further reducing carbon emissions. Furthermore, thanks to the new green solutions and technologies and their related applications in different scenarios, Huawei allows the various industrial sectors to digitize themselves and at the same time reduce their carbon emissions, with a potential reduction of emissions up to 60%.
The Partner Summit 2022, in which the commitment to create an open and collaborative partner ecosystem that guarantees the creation of value for all was reaffirmed, thanks to which the brand helps its partners to always respond in the best possible way to the different needs of customers, through a ever wider and more competitive product portfolio, attentive to sustainability and accessible in a short time.
Thanks to the series of promotions Fast Track infatti, since August 2021, the company has enabled over 400 customers and partners in theeducation, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing and retail, to accelerate the modernization of its network, in a context of growing demand for digital production networks.
Additional resources invested
Among the other initiatives of the renewed channel program presented during the event, additional resources invested both to encourage the training of partners and for the joint development and testing of new solutions for vertical sectors within the Open Lab Huawei.
Each year they are about 70.000 the training provided through the Huawei ICT Academywhich offers a wide variety of courses for the acquisition and certification of skills related to the different stages of sales, or through the program Authorized Learning Partners and 1,000 solutions developed together with partners in the Open Labs.
At the end of the event, the award ceremony was held for the partners who have made an exceptional contribution to the development of the ecosystem and the commercial channel in Italy. Finally, in the demo area set up inside the event location, numerous solutions dedicated to the various vertical sectors were presented, from education to tourism, from healthcare to the retail sector.
