It seems almost impossible, yet it is reality. The Cesaroni will return with a new, seventh season. Here are the details
Ten years have now passed since the season finale (or what seemed to be) of The Cesaroni, the very famous series that told the thousand adventures of an extended family, from Garbatella. Today, with a pinch of emotion and nostalgia, we can tell you: a new season is in the works!

We can’t deny it, the Cesaronis are one of the most famous families on Italian TV. They kept us company dal 2006 to 2014 on many evenings, in which one of our most insistent worries was to understand if Eva and Marco would ever get engaged permanently. And now, new stories dedicated to this family are about to arrive, in the hope of making us relive the same moods of the past (this time even with a pinch of melancholy).
It was one of the protagonists who gave the news, Antonello Fassarithe interpreter of Cesare Cesaroni and brother of Giulio (Claudio Amendola). The actor, during an interview with La Repubblica, confessed: “In June I will return to the set at Garbatella!”. A short sentence that was enough to drive the web crazy. Same thing had happened right to Claudio Amendola, who to Verissimo, after a question about the series, came out with a very mysterious: “Belli I Cesaroni, well, who knows…”. Even the producer Verdiana Bixio, had focused on the possibility of continuing the series:
Fans have been asking us for a new season for many years, it wouldn’t make sense for us to ignore such a strong request. Our mission is to excite the public with stories that touch the hearts of those who watch them, which is why a strong story is needed with a brand like I Cesaroni. If there is, it will be done!
What awaits us
But what do we know about these new episodes? It would seem that the new season will be a true sequel to the previous seasons. We will then find out what happened after the season 6 finale. But now let’s move on to the part you’re all probably waiting for: the cast. Which actors will return to play their characters? Unfortunately the news about it is still very confusing. We can tell you that we will almost certainly see it again Claudio Amendola (Giulio), Antonello Fassari (Caesar) e Max Tortora (Ezio). However, the presence of Matteo Branciamore (Mark), while we will almost certainly not see him again Alessandra Mastronardi (Eva) who has already specified in the past that she would not take part in any new episodes. We just have to wait for new developments and the start of filming, only in this way will we understand which cast members will be confirmed or not. The new season will probably debut in 2025.
