Big changes in the high echelons of Jaguar Land Rover Italy. In fact, Daniele Maver, President and CEO, has decided to end his professional career with the brand. Marco Santucci, former General Manager of the Italian branch, will take his place.
Jaguar Land Rover Italy: retirement for Daniele Maver
Change at the top for Jaguar Land Rover Italy, as there will be a new CEO. His name is Marco Santucci, and will take the place of Daniele Maver who will hold the position of President until November 30, 2021. From the following day Maver will be officially retired, after an exceptional professional career in reality as Ford and Nissan, before joining Jaguar Land Rover Italy in 2007.
During these 14 years Maver has gone through various company phases, collecting numerous successes. In fact, many of the praiseworthy performances in Europe are due precisely to the strategies put in place by the future former President.
The new CEO will be Marco Santucci
Marco Santucci, previously General Manager, will hold the position of Chief Executive Officer. Santucci joined the company in 2010, fresh from important experiences at Ford and Toyota. Among his successes we can mention the experience in China, when he took part in a small task force to support the market crisis of 2016. Following this success he joined the international branch of the brand in Frankfurt, and then return to Italy in 2019. And it is here that Marco Santucci becomes General Manager.
“It was not easy for me to make this decision, but, after personal evaluations and reflections, I think the time has come to leave the leadership of this company, which has given me great professional and personal satisfaction, to those who can continue to keep it solid, to make it grow again. ” So Daniele Maver commented on his farewell, but not before passing the baton to his successor: “Marco Santucci is certainly the most suitable person to do it and I wish him the success he deserves, together with all the fantastic Italian team that I has validly supported in these exciting fourteen years, and above all, in the difficult and unprecedented period of the pandemic, in which, among the many difficulties, we have managed to keep the helm firm. “
