Konami: all the clues seem to lead to the “track” of a new Silent Hill
The CEO of Bloober Team, Piotr Babieno, commented as follows the agreement with Konami (which many predict as the initial act of a rebirth of the brand Silent Hill):
It is a historic day for us and the culmination of several years of our work. The fact that a company as renowned as Konami has decided to collaborate strategically with Bloober Team means that we too have become part of the world leaders in the video game industry and have become an equal partner for the major players in this market.
Konami’s president and representative director, Hideki Hayakawahe added: “We have provided unique entertainment content and ways to enjoy it through the use of information technology. While the information on this partnership is still modest, the implications of the same could prove to be quite significant. There have long been rumors of a reboot for Konami’s Silent Hill franchise. It was later reported that several new titles in the saga were being developed with Bloober Team rumored to be taking part in the project (while a “prominent” Japanese developer works on another).
