The KTM 390 Adventure is a bike that practically needs no introduction, having established itself as a reference for its agility and handling, the result of an excellent ratio between weight and power. For 2022 he gets a new look and key updates that bring him closer to his big sisters.
For the version that will arrive in dealerships in 2022, in the first place it should be noted how the improvements in the electronics are significant. First of all, the new model will receive the addition of Street and Off-road modes for traction control. Eg, when switching from Street mode to Off-Road mode, the 390 Adventure now offers better grip control on the rear wheel, ideal to facilitate the use of off-road motorcycles, or even on wet or damp surfaces as we can find on a path in a wood. Should conditions temporarily improve, Off-Road Traction Control will remain activated in the event of a brief loss or decrease in traction. Another novelty of the 390 Adventure are the new cast wheels even more robust. The novelty concerns the design with five arms instead of six, which in this new configuration allows greater rigidity and resistance to this important component.
The new look also brings the KTM 390 Adventure closer to the Austrian brand’s motorcycles that race in the dunes and deserts around the world. Available in two different color versions, both options enhance the bold lines of the small and ultra versatile adventure.
The latest generation of the single-cylinder 4-stroke engine (Euro 5) develops an interesting power of 43 HP and 37 Nm of torque, keeping the frame lightweight which allows for a good combination of flexibility, stability and control, as well as handling. The bike’s renowned agility is combined with thoughtful ergonomics that put the rider at the center of the bike’s movements, just like a real off-roader. Finally, its new color scheme and graphics give it an aggressive look and match its recognized dynamic qualities.
