The official trailer for Loki 2 has finally arrived, the new episodes of which will arrive on Disney+ from October 6th
Even in the second season Loki continues to be bounced back and forth through the various eras, while the sacred timeline is now compromised. Disney + and Marvel have just released a new poster and the first official trailer of the second season of Loki with Tom Hiddleston. In the clip, which anticipates what we will see starting October 6 streaming on Disney +, we find the God of deception grappling with constant time jumps, a threat to himself and to the whole world.
Loki 2: what to expect from the trailer
The second season of Loki, says Disney +, promises new emotions, projecting the infamous God of Mischief in new adventures with the TVA. At the beginning of the clip we see Loki and Mobius (Owen Wilson) go to a TVA archivist (played by Ke Huy Quan) to find a solution to the continuous time jumps involving the protagonist. The new episodes will be in continuity with the events of the season 1 finale where Sylvie (Sophia DiMartino) had sent the universe into chaos by stabbing in the heart of the One Who Remains (Jonathan Majors who, as confirmed by the clip, will return despite the judicial troubles he was recently involved in) the variant of Kang who created the TVA to protect the timeline sacred. Loki was consequently transported to the TVA headquarters of an alternate timeline where he and Sylvie never met.
In the second season of Loki in addition to those already mentioned, we will find Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Renslayer), Wunmi Mosaku (Hunter B-15), Neil Ellice (Hunter D-90), Eugene Cordero (Hunter K-5E) and Tara Strong ( who doubles as Miss Minutes). New additions to the cast are Rafael Casal (Blindspotting), Kate Dickie (Inside Man) and Liz Carr (Silent Witness). Eric Martin, already on the staff of the first season of the Marvel series, served as head writer of the second. The episodes are directed by Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead, Dan Deleeuw and Kasra Farahani.
