Marlowe is the new film inspired by the books of the writer Raymond Chandler, which tells the story of a famous rough and surly private investigator who has entered the world of literature and over the years also in the world of cinema. In fact, the investigator has already been played over the years by cinema icons such as Humphrey Bogart in the film The Big Sleep, but there have also been Elliot Gould and Robert Mitchum.

In this new movie playing the detective is Liam Neesondirected by Neil Jordan and titled simply Marlowe.
This new chapter has a script that is inspired by the book that was not written by Chandler, but by Benjamin Black with the title The blonde with black eyes. Also in this chapter we try in the late 1930s in Los Angeles with the protagonist, a grumpy and unlucky street private detective, who is hired to find the ex-lover of a charming heiress who is the daughter of a movie star. Investigator Marlowe will find himself in a dangerous investigation where everyone has something to hide.
In the cast we can vedere Diane Kruger, Jessica Lange, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Alan Cumming, Danny Huston, Ian Hart, Colm Meaney, Daniela Melchior e François Arnaud.
