A leak in the past few hours has revealed the weight and date of the preload of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, the next single player title by Square Enix dedicated to the universe of superheroes
After the failure of Marvel’s Avengers, during E3 2021 Square Enix presented a new attempt at revenge of video games dedicated to superheroes. Marvel’s Guardians of The Galaxy will be available from next October 26th and it is, from what we have been able to see, a promising new Marvel adventure much more devoted to the single-player and the campaign than the Avengers. The long presentation trailer that aired on the E3 stage showed many interesting details and many more were revealed later, with an Eidos Montreal also venturing a curious comparison with Deus Ex.
As time goes by, and as the game’s release date approaches, new details and interesting trailers obviously emerge. In the past few hours, the official PlayStation Size Twitter profile revealed the weight of the game download and the official start date of the preload. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will weigh, at launch, 41,243 GB on PlayStation 5, obviously excluding the Day One patch that will almost certainly be added (so prepare several more GB on your console). In addition, it appears that the expected start date of the preload of the game is scheduled two days before the official launch, then on 24 October next.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will arrive next October 26 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Google Stadia and in cloud version for Nintendo Switch, with an expected weight (on PS5) of just over 40GB.
