Microsoft: releases Windows 11 build 25151

Microsoft just announced a new preview build of Windows 11 for the Dev channel, focusing primarily on bug fixes and further improvements

The build 25151 from Windows 11, is therefore available at this time for users of the Dev channel, of the program Windows Insider, plus some fixes for the File Explorerincluding a problem from resizing which could make the cards too largewe also find major fixes for i energy checks del menu Start.

Microsoft, in the official release notes of this new build explained:

We believe a core fix in build 25145 fixed the recent issue where shutting down via the Start menu was not working for some Insider users (with an unexpected reboot) and therefore we are removing this issue from the list of known issues. If you continue to experience this issue with the latest updates, please report it in the Feedback Hub. A crash in the Windows Security application has been fixed. Updated the exclusions page in the Windows Security app so that file paths now make better use of available space, rather than truncating when space is still available.

Needless to say, there are also several known issuesincluding, one that could cause a BSOD operating system after updating to this build. However, Microsoft claims that the drawback is present from the build 25145but a fix has not yet been released.

The IT giant states:

We are working on a fix to address reports that Mica material and Acrylic blur effect are not rendered correctly in OS surfaces such as the Start Menu, Notification Center, and other areas. We are investigating reports from some Insiders who are experiencing bugchecks with the KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED error message in NetAdapterCx.sys starting with build 25145.
