Release postponed for Midnight Suns, a cross-platform Marvel title that explores the darkest and most mystical part of the world created by Stan Lee
The release of Midnight Suns has been postponed by the manufacturer Firaxis Games on a date to be decided. The game was announced on August 25 during GamesCom 2021, and the gameplay was released at early September. Firaxis Games is the company founded by Sid Meyer e Jeff Briggs, specializing mainly in strategy video games: among their most famous titles, some chapters of the saga of Civilization and the latest XCOM titles.
Midnight Suns: when was the release postponed?
Midnight Suns was originally scheduled for release March 2022, but has been postponed for further “game improvements”. L’Tactical RPG has as protagonists Nico Minoru, Blade, Magician, and the Ghost Rider, intent on saving the world from the latest threat evoked by theHYDRA: Lilith, the mother of all demons. The four experts in the occult and the supernatural will have to ally themselves with the hunter/The Huntress (the player character), offspring of Lilith and therefore the only creature capable of killing her. We already know who the Hunter will be highly customizable, with more than 40 different abilities ranging from Light to Dark.

Jake Solomon, from Firaxis Games, announced on Twitter that the Midnight Suns release would be postponed to ssecond half of 2022 to make the game “the best possible game”. The project of Firaxis Games it is ambitious, being cross-platform (it will in fact be released for PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S / X, Nintendo Switch and PC, in the latter case on Steam and Epic Games), so this postponement could be justified. We just have to wait for other video presentations or other updates from the developers.
