In recent weeks, Netherrealm Studios and the creator of the series ed boon have prepared us for the announced announcement of a new game in the series Mortal Kombat: the announcement came complete with a release date. The news arrived a few moments ago, also accompanied by a trailer that shows the public, made up of both the most loyal community and the most curious newbies, the guise in which this new Mortal Kombat will present itself to the whole world. This title was presented as a real reboot of the saga with the confirmation, however, of some historical figures such as: Liu Kang, Kitana, Millennium, Raiden, Kung Lao, Scorpion, Sub Zero and Johnny Cage. As previously mentioned, the release date of the game was also presented in the trailer, which serves as the official announcement of Mortal Kombat 1: scheduled for September 19th. The game will have netcode rollback and possibly cross-play or cross-progression. Standard copies will be priced at $69.99. Premium editions will cost 109,99 € and will include early access to the September 14, 20231,250 Dragon Crystals and a Kombat Pack with six playable characters, five Kameo figures and a Jean-Claude Van Damme version of Johnny Cage. The $249.99 Kollector’s Edition is only available for PS5 and Xbox Series X and includes everything featured in the Premium Edition, a Liu Kang skin, art prints, a steel case, a 16.5-inch Liu Kang figure, and an additional 1,450 Dragon Crystals.
