Coming from June 30th, Mystery in Saint-Tropez, a new detective comedy set on the French Riviera in the 1970s
June 30 will arrive at the cinema a new, fun, slapstick comedy, directed by Nicolas Benamou. It is Mystery a Saint-Tropez, distributed in Italy by Medusa Film, in collaboration with I Wonder Pictures and Unipol Biografilm Collection.
Mystery in Saint-Tropez is a comedy of misunderstandings, set in the French Riviera of the 1970sfull of hilarious gags starring an exceptional cast that brings together the greatest stars of French comedy.
The cast
Among the aforementioned stars we can remember Benoit Poelvoordeloved for his interpretation of God exists and lives in Brussels; Christian Clavierwhom we have come to know in numerous films and who in the film will play the role of an unlikely inspector at Clouseau; Thierry Lhermitte, which we could admire in La Cena dei Cretini; the magnificent rosy depalma, eclectic and magnetic muse of Almodovar’s best films; and to conclude the award-winning and now counted in the Olympus of cinema history, Gérard Depardieu.
The plot
Mystery in Saint-Tropez is a detective comedy to be laughed at, thanks to the improbability Commissioner Bottathe only one left available in the torrid summer of Saint-Tropez, in order to investigate all the suspicious incidents and the strange unforeseen events that ruin the summer stay on the Côte d’Azur of the spouse Croissant.
The billionaires certainly cannot help but avoid the yèyè fashion and, like every year, they organize a party that is the jet set event par excellence, in their sumptuous villa on the Cote d’Azur.
However, someone has targeted the couple and also addressing the minister Jacques Chirac to find the best detective in Paris, the only one you can find in the hot summer of Saint-Tropez, is Commissioner Botta, almost retired and with a disastrous curriculum.
Will they manage to frame those who try to ruin the couple’s summer?
