Not just One Piece Live Action! Netflix recently released the teaser trailer for Chicken Run 2: Dawn of the Nuggets, the sequel to the stop-motion film that sees the return of Melisha Tweedy, better known as Mrs. Tweedy, Gaia’s archenemy. The images provide a first look at Mrs. Tweedy, voiced by stage, film and television actress Miranda Richardson. The cast is also joined by British actor, comedian, director and screenwriter Peter Serafinowicz as Reginald Smith, a humorless businessman who alongside Tweedy poses a new and greater threat to birds. . The film will be available exclusively for Netflix from December 15, the teaser trailer can be found below.

A film is said to be as successful as its villain, and Gaia’s nemesis, Mrs. Tweedy, is one of the best villains, bent on an unprecedented revenge in Dawn of the Nuggets. Working with Miranda Richardson to transform her into 1960s super villain Melisha Tweedy was a pleasure. Miranda manages to perfectly balance drama and comedy, making you laugh and scary at the same time. Rounding out our fantastic cast is Peter Serafinowicz as Reginald Smith, a somewhat bewildered businessman visiting Mrs. Tweedy’s giant nugget factory. He takes a particular comedic genius to play the foil to Miranda Richardson’s incredibly scary super villain. Peter does it with natural sophistication.
The synopsis is the following:
Having narrowly escaped the Tweedys’ farm, Gaia has finally found her dream place: a peaceful island retreat for the entire chicken coop, away from man-made dangers. When she and Rocky give birth to a chick named Molly, a happy ending seems near. But on land, the entire fowl race faces a new and terrible threat. For Gaia and her gang, the longed-for freedom may be at risk, but this time they will stop at nothing!
