One of the most loved Eevee evolutions, Sylveon is one of the stars of New Pokémon Snap: here’s how to get four stars in our guide

Sylveon has become one of stars of the most beloved franchise debuting in 2013, and in New Pokémon Snap shines for expressiveness and charm thanks to the new lifeblood that Bandai Namco has infused into the title. Seeing this evolution of Eevee interacting with other monsters or even just while sleeping leaves us dreaming about the potential that Game Freak can draw from its greatest creation. That said, you may be looking for a way to snap a photo for each of the star ratings available. We thought we would explain it below how to get each star, reaching the maximum score of four.

Sylveon: how to get the various stars in New Pokémon Snap

Photos in Sylveon can receive one to four stars in New Pokémon Snap, ei requirements for each rating they are different. Below you can find a quick list of what you need to do for each rating.

  • A star: The photo from a star can be taken in Sylveon in a lumina area in general, or in the Floreo Natural Park. No specific conditions are needed.
  • Two stars: Frightening (and waking up) Sylveon while he sleeps with an instrument, such as a fluffy apple or a Lumia Sphere, can piss him off. Take the photo at that precise moment.
  • Three stars: Waking up Sylveon in a lumina area (on the right, at the beginning of the level, hidden behind a cliff) with a Lumia Sphere or with something he likes, you will force him to jump and land on all fours. A photo during or just after the jump will earn you three stars.
  • Four stars: Follow the exact same procedure above, and wait for it to approach Meganium on your left. When he does, he starts hopping – here’s your lucky shot.
