Less than a month after its global release, Nier Replicant ver.1.2247448713 returns with a new gameplay trailer, centered on two iconic areas of the original game
As already announced some time ago, during the Tokyo Game Show 2020, Nier Replicant ver.1.22474487139 … is in the pipeline and next April 23 we will finally be able to have it in our anxious hands. Unexpectedly shown in March of last year, when we were in full lockdown and the good news was really comforting, the updated version of the classic for PlayStation 3 really made Yoko Taro fans around the globe rejoice. The huge success of Nier Automata, which although not free from defects has still excited most of the fans, has led Square Enix to resurrect the IP. IS given how little Nier was considered at the time of his original western release, back in 2010, the move to bring this version between the remake and the remastered is very apt.
And less than a month after its release, Square Enix and Toylogic, the company that is actively involved in development, have released new gameplay content in the form of a trailer. You can find the video below in the middle of the page and it is also quite long-lived. Two areas are shown, Junk Heap e The Aerie, even if in reality the main focus is on the bosses you will encounter in those specific locations. We leave you to the trailer.

In Nier Replicant ver.1.22474487139… we will impersonate a young boy and his sister Yonah, afflicted with the disease called Black Scrawl. As is clear, our aim will be to find a cure and, in the course of the adventure, we will meet and ally ourselves with cult characters such as the talking book Grimoire Weiss, Kaine or Emil. Aside from the obvious graphics and combat system improvements, this updated version of Nier Replicant will also boast full voice acting, rearranged music and even new music tracks. Nier Replicant ver.1.22474487139… will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in late April and there are already free post-launch DLCs that will add new weapons.
